Betty Jane Mason, 71, of Dun Glen, Ohio passed away Friday August 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 25, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Leo and Lillie (Bonzie) Mason. Betty was an retired employee of the former Bobbie-Brooks Co. in Bellaire. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her life companion Richard Hastings, and brother-in-laws Edward Bednarek, Jay Blua, and Leslie Morgan. She is survived by her siblings Marge Bednarek, Norma Jean Morgan, Ronald (Gail) Mason, Judy Blua, Carol (Henry) Miller, Joe (Peg) Mason, Rich (Gail) Mason, and many nieces and nephews. According to Betty Jane's wishes there will be no visitation and private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
