Betty L. (Moore) Hersey, 58, of Martin Ferry, OH died Sun. Apr. 10, 2005 at the home of her dear friend Victoria Dalessio. She was born Nov. 17, 1946 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Elwood E. "Tucker" and Sara M. (Thomas) Moore. She retired from the formerly East Ohio Regional Hospital Dietary Department, Martins Ferry and she was employed by Sam's Club of St. Clairsville, OH and she was a member of the St.Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, Eagles Aerie # 995, Bridgeport, and Dietary Managers Association of Chicago, IL. Surviving are her husband Patrick H. Hersey, Sr., two brothers Charles E. Moore of Cambridge and Richard E. (Misoa) Moore of Omaha, NE, a sister Carol (David) Fitton of Riverside, CA, four nieces Dawna (Lou) Illiano of Anaheim, CA, Brenda Strader of Riverside, CA, Judy (Terry) Johnson of Waynesville, OH, and Jody Moore of Columbus. Private services and interment where held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contribution may be may to Family Hospice, Pittsburgh, PA.
