Betty Lou (Moreland) Trouten, 90, formerly of Deep Run, Martins Ferry, OH died Mar. 31, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Nov. 2, 1924 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Orville and Henrietta (Carpenter) Moreland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Trouten, grandsons; Christopher Carmalt and Raymond Pados, brother, John Moreland and sister Orvella Green. Surviving are her children; Brenda Shane of Wheeling, Vivian (Lawrence) Carmalt of Martins Ferry and Terry Trouten of Tiltonsville, OH, a sister, Anna Mae Turek of Wheeling, eleven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Saturday, April 4, 2015, 10 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating.
