Betty L. (Nichols) Parsons, 79, formerly of Wayne Hays Towers, Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born April 21, 1929 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Beyrl and Hilda M. (Dowler) Nichols. She was the previous owner of the former Harbor Lights of Wheeling Island and also worked as a supervisor of the mail room for the Wheeling News-Register. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Parsons and a son Joseph J. Thomas. Surviving are her daughter Sherry Bonham and her husband David of Martins Ferry, a grandson Eric Bonham, two step grandchildren Aaron Bonham and Kellie Conaway, and a daughter-in-law Jeannie Goletz. Friends will be received Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Saturday, Apr. 11, 2009 from 10am until time of services at 11:00 am at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry where Rev. William O.
