Betty M. (Porter) Waldren, 85, of N. 7th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., Feb. 28, 2007 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home, Yorkville, OH. She was born Mar. 6, 1921 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Katherine (Hutchin) Porter. She was formerly employed with the Martins Ferry Public Library and a member of the First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William W. Waldren, and a sister Amy (Porter) Roberts. Surviving are two nieces Cathy (Doug) McCarty and Betty Wince both of Newark, OH and two nephews John Roberts of Heath, OH and Ronald (Cassie) Roberts of Newark, OH. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Mar. 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert J.
