Betty Rose, 91 of Dillonvale died Wednesday, November 30, 2021, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on April 14, 1930, in Fairpoint, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry and Martha (Marzley) Basluke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew "Mac" Rose; sisters Nancy Robinson, Tillie Svoboda, Veronica Powley, Cecilia DiCola; and her brother Harry Basluke.

Betty was a wonderful cook and well known for her Hungarian nut rolls. She adored her grandsons and was dedicated to the care of her late husband Mac. They are dancing together again. If you knew her and she loved you, her goodbye was "Be Bad"!

Betty is survived by her daughter, Andrea (DeeDee) Moore and her husband Mike of Dillonvale; grandsons Justin and Tyler Moore, Stepdaughter Virginia (Richard) Polinski; stepson Michael (Carole) Rose, niece Tonya (Chad) Elbert, nephew Dean (Jamie) DiCola, brothers Alex (Mary Kay) Basluke, Raymond Basluke, sisters Geneva Fox and Joanne Lipski.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Betty's life on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 5-8 at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3 at 12 noon with the Rev. Jim Monogioudis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
