Betty M. Petrella, 89, of Bonifay, FL, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in her home.  She was born in Ambridge, PA on February 13, 1930 a daughter of the late George E. and Elizabeth (Seeley) Swartz.

Betty is survived by a daughter-in-law, Susan Petrella; 2 sisters, Mary DeMatteis and Dorothy Garrison; 3 grandchildren, Chris Sciolino, Anthony Sciolino and Felicia Giberson and 2 great granddaughters, Stephenie and Jennifer Giberson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony "Tony" Petrella Sr., a son, Anthony Petrella Jr., and her brother, George "Sonny" Swartz.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday May 24, 2019 in St Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction with Father James Dunfee officiating.  Burial followed in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Battleship Missouri Memorial, 63 Cowpen St. Honolulu, HI 96818-5006.

The family was served by Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union St., Mingo Junction.
