Wetzel Betty Ann, 67 of Martins Ferry died Friday June 1, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 17, 1944 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Louis and Ann Romish. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain, and a former employee of the Wheeling News Register News Paper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Romish. Betty Ann is survived by her loving husband of 44 years James R. Wetzel, a daughter Michelle (Jimmy) Edwards of Martins Ferry, a brother Louis (Doris) Romish of Bridgeport, two sisters Marilyn Goletz of Barton, and Sandra (Mike) Bilica of St. Clairsville, a sister-in-law Beverly Romish, three grandchildren James, Megan, and Jordan Edwards. Betty was very devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and attending there many activities. Members of he family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookide on Sunday June 3, 2012 from 4-6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain with Fr.
