Nannie "Betty" E. Roth, 95, of Cadiz, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away February 4, 2021 at the Meadows of Cadiz Nursing Home.

She was born May 14, 1925, in Brookeside, OH, a daughter of the late Frank R. and Lula M. (Lilly) Young.

Betty was a retired from Ogden Newspapers of Wheeling where she worked in the composing room and was member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Roth; siblings, Lora Shriver, Dorothy Creamer, Blanche Glavaris, Virginia Kildow, Fred, Thomas and Robert Young.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Jackie) Roth of Cadiz, OH, Barry A. Roth of St. Clairsville, OH; grandchildren, and Tiffany Jeffers of Canal Fulton, OH; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Connor Roth and Olivia and Reid Jeffers; and her extended family at the Meadows of Cadiz Nursing Home.

Friends will be received Monday, February 8th, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935 from 10a.m. until time of service at noon.  Funeral service at noon with Reverend Bill Lawrence officiating.  Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Meadows of Cadiz Activity Department in C/O R. B. Elliott, 308 West Warren St. Cadiz, OH 43907.
