Ochsenbein Beverly Moore 83 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Ohio Valley Medical Center Wheeling. She was born July 1, 1927 at West Wheeling, Ohio a daughter of the late Herman and Maybelle Fortney Moore. Beverly was a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1945. She was a registered nurse having graduated with the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1948. She worked in Hospitals in Wheeling, WV, Marietta, Ohio Islip NY, St. Johns bury, VT. And York PA. She was a member of the PEO (Philanthropic Education Organization), the Wheeling Civic Garden Center, the Herb Society of Wheeling, the Wheeling Women's Club, OVGH Nursing Alumni Association, and the Friend of the St. Clairsville Library Organization; her avocations were swimming and reading. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her four brothers Harris who was killed in Iwo Jima in WWII, Herman Jr., Robert, and Rollo Moore. Surviving is her husband Robert J. Ochsenbein, a son Roland (Cia) Ochsenbein of Bolton MA. A daughter Gwen Ochsenbein of Terrehaute IN. three grandchildren Allen, Brandon Showalter, and Gary Snivley, and several nieces and nephews. Friend will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday June 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held Saturday at 11 am with the Rev.
