Blanche B. Huff, 90, of Flushing, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born May 28, 1921 in Hastings, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank M. Fikas and Magdalene Nora Kusak Fikas. Blanche was a lifelong member of Flushing Garden Club and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker and her love for her family was most precious to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Huff; sisters, Anna Mack, Stella Lagod, Catherine Barnish, and Nellie Fikas; and great-grandchild, Devin Lowe. Blanche is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie (Jerry) Simmons of Columbus, Ohio, Karen (Kenneth) Stalnaker of Flushing, Ohio, and Marsha (Frank) Huff-Mollica, O.D. of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one son, Kenneth (Cristie) Huff of Flushing, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jeff Simmons, Karen Keck, Anna Rogers, Kimberly Lowe, Ryan Stalnaker, Brenda Kyer, Kurt Stalnaker, and Aaron Huff; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call, Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where services will be conducted, Friday 11 a.m. Reverend Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
