Bonnie J. (Longfield) Smith, 63, of Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, OH died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born June 13, 1944 in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late Abraham L. Longfield and Mildred (Davis) Havel. She was retired from Little Caesar's Pizza at the Ohio Valley Mall K-Mart and a member of the Wheeling Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are her husband Shawn P. Smith, a son William "Bill" Schmitt, Jr. and a daughter Keri (John) Spear all of Bellaire, OH, a brother and a sister, five grandchildren Anthony Schmitt and William Schmitt, III, Brooklyn Dyer-Schmitt, and Allanha and Alessia Spear, and a step-sister Lynn Winters. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at 11:00a.m. with Pastors Brian Jones and Abelardo Rivas officiating.
