Brenda K. Mullen 48, of St. Clairsville, died Wednesday July 20, 2011 at Ohio Valley Medical Center Wheeling, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born January 2, 1963 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Herbert Van and Sarah Green Galland of Bellville, WV. She was an employee of Gumby's on Wheeling Island. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer and Byrl Galland, and Cecil and Sarah Green. In addition to her parents Brenda is survived by her loving husband; John E. Mullen Jr., a son; John E. Mullen III, and a daughter; Sarah (Apollo Rice) Mullen both of St. Clairsville, 2 brothers; Van (Jody) Galland, and Jay (Missy) Galland both of Bellville, WV, 3 sisters; Becky (Rick) Seckman of Washington WV, Beth (David) Starcher of Bellville WV, and B.J. (Bill) Elliott of Waverly WV, a granddaughter; Maci Kay Rice, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday July 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held Saturday at 1 pm with Rev.
