Brenda S. Thorpe, 66, of Bridgeport, OH died June 19, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born October 22, 1952, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Darrell and Shirley (Anderson) Snodgrass.  Brenda was a former employee at Oglebay Park and was a Christian by faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Thorpe Sr., and brother, Roger Dale Bowers.  Brenda is survived by her children, Mickey (Amy) Thorpe Jr., of Valley Grove, WV,  Melissa Thorpe, of St. Clairsville, OH, Dona Harris of Cameron, WV; siblings, Darrell (Kathleen) Snodgrass of Bridgeport, Hazel Roby of Bridgeport, Lisa Nightingale of Wheeling; grandchildren, Mickey III, Lexus, David (Courtney), and Harley Thorpe, and Amber (Rebecca) Boring; and several great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2p.m. until time of service at 7p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd.
