XENAKIS, Brenda Lee Griffith, 55, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Friday March 4, 2011 at WVU Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on February 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Ward and Betty Roberts Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Harvey and Lonnie Griffith; and four sisters: Rose Ellen, Mary Lou, Barb and Dorothy. Brenda is survived by her husband Paul Xenakis; three daughters: Terri Lynn Kropka and Rebecca Holland, both of Martins Ferry, and Megan Xenakis of Bellaire; five sisters: Betty Lynn Travis and Janet Reynolds, Doris Wells, all of Tiltonsville, Nila Richardson of Wheeling; brothers, Ward Griffith and Mark Griffith; five grandchildren: Justice Kropka, Jazayah McCrary, Dameyon Xenakis, Serenity Holland and Ava Xenakis; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, Ohio, where Trisagion Services will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Wednesday March 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Greek Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain, Martins Ferry, Ohio, with Fr. Menelaos Papageorgiou, as celebrant.
