Buryle J. Reese, 84, of Tallmadge, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Tue., Jan. 9, 2007 at Essex Healthcare of Tallmadge. He was born Feb. 28, 1922 in Warren Township, Belmont Co. a son of the late George F. and Iva (Sprouse) Reese. He was a retired Plasterer and Coal Miner. Buryle was a member of American Legion Post #38, Eagles Aerie #456, Redman Club Tribe #75, and the former V.F.W. Post #3613 all of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alice C. "Jackie" (Beazel) Reese. Surviving are two daughters Janice Hanna of Hudson, OH and Jackie (Albert) Toth of Uniontown, OH, a son Raoul (Mary Dee) Reese of Vienna, VA, and four grandchildren Morgan Reese, Stephen Toth, and Benjamin and Jacob Hanna. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Military honors will be presented by the Belmont Co. V.F.W. at the funeral home.
