Candice L. Swoyer Candice L. (Schell) Swoyer, 52, of Auta Ave., Hamden, OH, formerly of N. 5th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Nov. 16, 2003 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, OH after having fought a 30 year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born Jul. 9, 1951 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Marie (Eden) Schell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a step-son Troy Swoyer. Surviving are her husband Theodore J. Swoyer, a son Charles Blinco of Hamden, a daughter Carrie (Shawn) Fee of McArthur, OH, a step-daughter Theresa (Brad) Corder of Clarksburg, WV, three brothers Fred (Melissa) Schell, Jr. of TN, Rob (Felicia) Schell of Tyler, TX, and John Schell of Martins Ferry, and five grandchildren. Friends will be received Tue. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Nov. 19, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Leland M. Eilert officiating. Interment follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry at the convenience of the family.
