Carl T. Beranek Sr., 69, of Dillonvale, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.  He was born on March 12, 1952, in Martins Ferry a son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Litva) Beranek.  Carl retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville after 35 years and was Catholic by faith.  He loved camping at Seneca Lake, all the people that camped there, fishing and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Debora (Battlochi) Beranek; a son, Carl (Sara) Beranek Jr.; 3 brothers, Joseph (Barb) Beranek, Eddy (Robin) Beranek and Jerry (Sherry) Beranek; 2 grandsons, Thomas and Kyle Beranek all of Dillonvale and his special Fur Baby, Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Dawn Michele Beranek.

Friends may call Sunday from 1-6 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.  Funeral Service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home with Msgr. John Kolesar and Reverend James Hoff officiating.
