Carl J. "Buck" Boyd, 85 of Mt. Pleasant went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, October 9, 2025, and is now reunited with his loving wife.  He was born on September 2, 1940, in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of the late Carl B. and Martha Estella (Warner) Boyd.

He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator, from Oxford Mining, a Methodist by faith and member of Smithfield Masonic Lodge #182, and the Dillonvale Firemen's Club.

Buck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandpap, brother, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Boyd, son-in-law, Denny Walker, sisters, Betty Boyd, and Virginia Bell.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Debbie Walker, Cindy (Dino) Iadanza, and Becky (Scott) Hazelton, grandchildren, Ashley Cichon, Joshua (Breanna) Cichon, Boyd (Maddie) Walker, and Samuel Hazelton, great-grandchildren, Jackson Carter, and Annie Louise Cichon, siblings, Mary "Ebbie" Vinisky, Joe (Melissa) Boyd, and Dick (Donna) Boyd.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, Ohio 43917.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11am at the funeral home officiated by Scott Hazelton.  Graveside Service to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove, Ohio
