Carl "CC" Conway, 82, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Wednesday July 10, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on January 30, 1931, a son of the late Carl and Mary Conway. Carl was a member of Bridgeport VFW, Bridgeport Eagles, Bridgeport American Legion, Osiris Shrine of Wheeling, Royal Order of Jesters #13; U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War; retired U.S. Postal Worker after 37 years; and Masonic Blue Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Addison Conway and a sister Delore Nevada. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Naomi Mayer Conway; daughter: Carla (Chuck) Miller of Martins Ferry, sons: Rick Haught of Wheeling and Tem Haught of Bridgeport; a sister Verlin Holt and brother Pete Conway, both of Bridgeport; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 15, 2013 with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Interment following at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, W.Va.
