Carl W. Pozza Jr., 55, of Salesville, Ohio passed away suddenly at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center on October 21, 2026. He was born in Wheeling, WV on July 10, 1971, a son to the late Carl W. Pozza Sr. and Ethel J. (Bailey) Pozza.

Carl was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He was a retired welder, and a member of the Salesville Christian Church. He enjoyed shark fishing, alligator hunting, gold prospecting, and traveling. He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ten years ago, Carl endured a heart transplant. He protected the second chance he was given by never complaining and always caring well for himself. He had strong faith and looked at every situation in a positive light. Carl was selfless and always made time to help others in any way possible. Even after death, he thought of others by donating his own organs. He lived life to the fullest, had a great sense of humor, and always had a smile on his face.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sister Crystal Spence.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Teasha Pozza; children, Jennifer (Bret) Blon, Christene Horne (Christian Riffe), Brian (Rylee) Horne Jr.; grandchildren, Issac, Kaison, Oliver, Mazikeen, Remington; sisters, Mary (Bill) Bailey, Roxanne Pozza; nieces, Andrea (Derek) Potts, Tiarra Yeargin; great niece and nephews, Serenity, Carl, and Brian.

In keeping with Carl’s request, there will be no services. Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 E. Main St., Barnesville, Ohio 43713 is honored to assist the family.
