Carmelo David Alonzo Powell the son of Rashuan Platt and Channing Powell, Born May 25, 2014, he passed away in his father's arms at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV on Jan. 3, 2015 at 4:04 pm after a long battle of illnesses; gently into the arms of Jesus.Carmelo leaves behind his siblings Cameron Powell, Emerys Powell, Trenton Powell, Julian Armstead, Kaylianna Powell and Michael Powell, his grandparents Ron (Rauslynn) Platt, Rozetta Platt, Michelle Powell-Martin, Vernon Chapman, his great grandparents Margaret Platt,Susan Strange-Powell and Malissa Miller.Carmelo was a very sweet baby boy who touched a lot of lives in such a short time and will be missed dearly by many. Services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Jan. 9th at 2 pm located at 920 National Road Bridgeport, Oh. Fellowship will follow at the Mt.
