Carol Jean Beltz, 82, of Lansing, OH, passed away Friday November 3, 2017 at Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place. She was born in Lansing on December 17, 1934, a daughter of the late George and Loretta Shaw Baker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Beltz, a daughter Debra Beltz, brothers: John and Glenn Baker and a sister Ruby Charnock. Carol is survived by a son Timothy (Sondra) Beltz of Glenwood, MD, a daughter Cynthia (Mark) Fischer of Bridgeport, a sister Georgia Weiss of Poulsbo, WA, grandchildren: Shayna Fischer and Mallory Fischer. Friends will be received Tuesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside. Visitation will also be on Wednesday November 8, 2017 from 10 until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Lansing United Methodist Church with Rev. John Jackson officiating.
