Carol Lee Carlier, 73, formerly of Bridgeport died peacefully, Sunday April 27, 2008 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born May 6, 1934 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Charles Foster and Mabel Grace Tripp Mellott. She was a retired switchboard operator with Stone and Thomas and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kirkwood. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Martin Carlier. Carol is survived by two sons, Charles M. Carlier and his wife Cheryl of Wolfhurst, Mark Carlier and his wife Diana of Bridgeport; two daughters, Alexis Scarnecchia and her husband Michael of St Clairsville, Carol Anne Carlier of Bridgeport; a granddaughter, Jessica Scarnecchia, three grandsons, Matthew, Zachary and Jared Carlier; a brother in law, Daniel (Sherry) Carlier; a sister in law, Evelyn "Sis" Peppler. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral service to follow visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, with Reverend Lisa Boulton officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
