Greer Carol Ann, 67, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday March 12, 2014 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center St. Clairsville. She was born February 4, 1947 in Ludlow, Mass., a daughter of the late John and Olive (Messenger) Hanson. She was a member of The First Christian Church Martins Ferry, and a Nurses Aide. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John B. Hanson and a great grandson. Carol is survived by her son Terry Greer and his wife Mary of Martins Ferry, a brother William "Bill" (Jan) Hanson of Pennsicole, Fl., four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday March 14, 2014 from 4- 8 pm, with services to follow at 8 pm with Pastor Brad Johnston officiating. Martins Ferry Fire Department services will be held on Friday at 7 pm at the Funeral Home.
