Carol Marie McCarty, 81 of Belmont passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, May 19, 2022. She was born on September 13, 1940, in Senecaville, OH. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Edna Mae (Webster) Rose.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mac McCarty, a grandson Randell E. McCarty, and brother Bill E. Rose.

She was a Christian by faith and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Carol was retired, she held many jobs and had adventures from running heavy equipment to driving truck. She was a pioneer in her day showing us that you can be and do whatever you want, there are no limitation to one's abilities.

She is survived by a son, Randell C. McCarty (Donna); grandsons: Kyle B. McCarty & Lance S. McCarty (Elizabeth); great grand children Hannah, Hudson & Magdalynn, a brother Robert K. (Cindy) Rose of MT, and sister Patricia Rose of MO. Carol leaves behind her dear friend Marlene Wolfe with whom she resided.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 11 till time of service at 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 322 E. Main St., Bethesda, OH 43719.
