Carol Lee White, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1936 in Somerton, Ohio, daughter of the late George I. Turner and Gladys M. Kirkbride Turner. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Working many years in the medical field, Carol was an in-home nurse. She was creative and enjoyed crocheting, needle work, and crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. White; sister, Julia Hanning; and brothers, Joseph and Richard Turner. Carol is survived by her son, George R. (Rebecca) White; grandson, Michael L. (Misty) White; and great- grandson, Michael A. White all of Barnesville. Family and friends may visit, Thursday from noon until the time of service beginning at 2 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Interment will follow at Somerton Cemetery, Somerton, Ohio.
