Caroline Lee Rushforth White, 69, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Tuesday August 31, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital. Caroline was born in Bridgeport on July 28, 1941, a daughter of the late Lee and Gladys Dienstel Rushforth and she was a member of the Ohio Valley Baptist Church of Triadelphia, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Virgil B. White Sr. and her mother-in-law Helen McFadden. Caroline is survived by two sons: V. Bernard White Jr. of Bridgeport and Paul J. White of Martins Ferry, Ohio; a daughter Helen C. Elbert and her husband Rev. John of Clarksburg, WV., two sisters: Amy L. Hodgekiss of Warwood, WV. and Nancy L. Deem of Tunnel Hill, GA., three grandchildren: Sarah, Timothy and Jacob Elbert. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where services will be held Saturday September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with reverends, John M.
