Carolyn "Jane" Brown, 81 of Barnesville, Ohio, died January 2, 2014 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Partlow. Jane, as she was known by her family and friends, was a unique, selfless, and warmhearted person. She enjoyed gardening and crafting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jay Scott "Rusty" Brown and sister, Ethel McDonnell. Jane is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jane Brown and grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Chaz Cabrices and Michael Cabrices all of Miami, Florida. She will be sadly missed by her family, the Striker Family, and her many friends. Family and friends may visit, Friday, January 10, 2014 from 11 am until 1 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. A private service for Jane's immediate family will be held on January 17, 2014. It was Jane's wishes that interment be private and at the convenience of her family.
