Carolyn S. Gossett, 60, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away from the arms of her beloved husband Dennis, into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Friday, December 6, 2013. She was born January 25, 1953 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Walter J. Brudzinski and Elizabeth M. Ondusko Brudzinski.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carolyn worked alongside her husband, farming, for 42 years. She taught pre-school from 1986 until 2006 and worked for the USDA Program Assistance. Carolyn was the first woman to be elected to serve on the Belmont County Soil and Water Conservation Board, serving two terms.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis P. Gossett of Bethesda, Ohio; sons, Denny M. (Shannon) Gossett of Jacobsburg, Ohio and Grant M. (Melissa) Gossett of Bethesda, Ohio; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Joseph (Christine) DeMichele of Bedford, Ohio and Walter (Rhonda) Brudinski of Lafferty, Ohio.
Family and friends may visit, Monday from 6 to 9 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, with a Wake Service beginning at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial with Father Frederick Kihm, Tuesday at 10 am, St. Paul's Church, 115 Morristown, Road, Flushing, Ohio. Interment of cremains to follow at the convenience of Carolyn's family.
