Carrie Ann Mruk, 78, of Dillonvale, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 15, 2024, in her residence. She was born on November 12, 1945, in Nellis, WV, a daughter of the late George and Nellie (Green) Haws. She enjoyed traveling, baking, gardening, reading, yoga, and spending time with family enjoying nature on their farm. Her biggest joy though, was nurturing the family she loved so much.

Carrie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John Mruk; a son, Dave (Sandi) Mruk; a daughter, Jennifer Dabernig;  a step-mother, Dorothy Haws; four brothers, Charles (Pam) Haws, Bob (Dawn) Haws, Larry (Leslie) Haws and Gary (Karen) Haws; three sisters, Linda (Tony) Beno, Christine Haws and Deborah (Jacek)  Zajdler; seven grandchildren, Casie, Morgan, Cortney, Paige, Macy, Kelly and Grace; three great grandchildren, Henry, Hayley and Evelyn; and many nieces and nephews.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Mruk Jr; two brothers, George, and Kenneth Haws; and two sisters, Patricia Kallas and Diane McHugh.

A Celebration of Life service open house will be held on March 10, from 1-6 pm, at AMVETS Legion, 3944 Wheatley, Road Richfield, Ohio 44286. Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale assisting the family.
