Catherine M. Delbrugge, 56 of Bridgeport died Wednesday May 29, 2019 at her home. She was born November 1, 1962 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of Eva J. Delbrugge and of the late James J. Delbrugge.

She was a member of The Experience Church of Wolfhurst and she had a strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Cathy had a passion for horses, nature, wildlife and all of God's creatures.  She took the time to stop and smell the roses and reveled in their beauty.  Her laughter was one of a kind and contagious.  Cathy was so proud of her daughter Chelsea; she and Richard were the light of her life.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Delbrugge.

Cathy is survived by her mother, Eva J. (Unterzuber) Delbrugge of Bridgeport, a daughter, Chelsea Bendele of Powell, a grandson, Richard Patrick Bendele, siblings, Joseph A. Delbrugge of St. Clairsville, Thomas E. Delbrugge of Martins Ferry, Christina M. (Gary) Kull of Oregon, Twila (Craig) Yanak of Morgantown, Nancy E. (Rick) Chilcote of Woodburn, IN, and Jennifer D. (Aron) Stanley of AL, also several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a memorial visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday June 6, 2019 from 2-5 pm with services to be conducted at 5 pm, with Pastor Jerry Wenger officiating.
