CATHERINE M. MOUNTAIN, 91, of Bridgeport, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born October 20, 1916 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mareia Kamm Lavelle. Catherine was a retired bookkeeper for the Village of Bridgeport Water Department and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Mountain in 1964 and a son Thomas Mountain in 2007. Catherine is survived by a son Gerald Mountain and his wife Kay of St. Clairsville; a daughter Suzanne Glasow and her husband James of Bridgeport; a daughter in-law Letitia Mountain of Somerset, PA; a granddaughter Beth Ann Albaugh and her husband Robert of Wheeling and a great grandson Robert Brandon Albaugh of Wheeling. Catherine was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Special thanks to Catherine's devoted caregivers Donna Midcap, Carley Balvin, Rose Vinci and Courtney Moore.
