Cathy J. Magistro, 59, of Colerain, Ohio, passed suddenly Thursday July 31, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Wheeling on January 24, 1955 a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Donovan Parfinovich. She was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Office Manager at Wilson Funeral Homes for many years. Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Jerry Magistro; daughters: Jara (Aaron) Chirpas, Kayla (Chris) Amedro, Jonni Jo Magistro; a son Luca Magistro, all of Colerain, Ohio; sisters: Bobbie (Cec) Barker of Richmond, Ohio, Carol (Ed) Mitchell of Wolfhurst; grandchildren Bella, Giana and Lia Chirpas, and a soon to arrive granddaughter from Kayla (Chris) Amedro. Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain.
