Cecil W. Gwinn, 83, of Indiana St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Mar. 15, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Mar. 29, 1922 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late William J. and Mildred (Hale) Gwinn. He was a retired Physicist for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base of Dayton, OH and a member of the American Organization of Physics Teachers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jean (Absalom) Gwinn and a brother Vincent V. Gwinn. Surviving are two brothers-in-law Edmund T. (Nadine) Absalom and Thomas A. (Gloria ) Absalom both of Martins Ferry and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Mar. 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, OH.
