Cecil L. Peterson Cecil L. Peterson, 72, of Pine Hollow Rd., Bridgeport, OH died Wed., Mar. 20, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born May 18, 1929 in Pease Twp., OH a son of Elsie M. Morris Peterson Reynolds and the late Leroy W. Peterson. He was a retired truck driver for Highway Paving, a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son Chief Petty Officer Mark D. Peterson and a brother Rex Peterson. Surviving are his wife Anitra L. Roberts Peterson, three daughters Christi Altmeyer and her husband Michael of Wheeling, Vicki Lyle of Benwood, and Debbie Dozal and her husband Jose of Alverado, TX, his mother of Pleasant Grove, two brothers Dale Peterson of Woodsfield and Vince Peterson of Fowler, OH, a sister Cleda May and her husband William of Woodsfield, six grandchildren Jennifer, Sarah, and Peterson J. Altmeyer, Kari Jo Lira, Beckie Dozal, and Dawn Peterson, and five great grandchildren Roy and Jack Duff, Jose, Becca, and Sandra Dozal. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Sun. 2-4 & 7-9 PM where services will be held Mon. at 1:00 PM with Rev. J. William DeMoss officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
