Cecil C. "Red" West, 90, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away, August 26, 2011 at Forest Hill Retirement Center, in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was born August 6, 1921 in Flushing, Ohio. Red was a retired mechanic with the Union Local School bus garage. He is preceded in death by mother, Carrie Russell; brother, Charles Russell; and grandson, Jerry Paboucek. He is survived by his wife, Georgia I. Blake West of the home; daughters, Diana (Joseph) Davis of Belmont, Ohio, Darla Robb (Mark Rice) of Marysville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ronnie Yoho of Flushing, Ohio, Vickie (Yoho) Malhiot of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Kelli Pastva of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Tonda (Toohey) Miller of Georgetown, Kentucky, Rodney Toohey of Huntersville, North Carolina, and Amber (Paboucek) King of Marysville, Ohio; seventeen great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Cole, Jessica, Derrick, Ian, Bailey, Kayla, Braiden, Emily, Talor, Alex, Abby, Hannah, Jackson, Mary, and Savannah; and four great-great-grandchildren, Riley Jo, Julie, Emilie, and Marlie. Family and friends will be received. Monday 6:00-8:00 PM at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where services will be conducted, Tuesday 11:00 AM. Pastor Robert Merritt will be officiating. Interment will take place at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio. Red was loved by all who knew him.
