Charlene (Worley) Regis, 76, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 18, 1941 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Charles D. and Mary Virginia (Christman) Worley.

Charlene retired as executive secretary for W. A. Wilson Co. of Wheeling, WV and worked for many years for the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Regis and her sisters; Jenny Duncan and Betty Lee Spurlin.

Surviving are her children; Cheri (Mark) Westlake of St. Clairsville, OH, Wendy (Jeff) Suto of Martins Ferry, Becky (Sheldon) Hill of Rayland, OH and George "Chip" Regis of Piedmont, OH, grandchildren; Brandon and Mikayla Westlake, Jon Michael (Bri) Nagel, Josh Nagel, Ryker Hill, Ty (Kinsey) Hill, Hunter Hill and Chloe Hill, a great grandchild, Jordy Nagel, her brother, Harry "Buck" (Gertrude) Worley of Gahanna, OH and in-laws; Patricia (James) Madison of Tahlequah, OK and Jack (Billie) Regis of Martins Ferry.

Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Sunday, 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Forward Fund at First Christian Church, 710 S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 to help build the new Multi-Purpose Facility.
