Charlene (Edmundson) Veloski, 70, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born Dec. 14, 1942 in Massillon, OH, a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Verba LaVern (Bristow) Edmundson. Charlene was the Director of Food Services for the Martins Ferry Public School System. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and American Legion Post #38 Auxiliary both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Edmundson. Surviving are her husband Donald L. Veloski, daughters; Stacey (Marc) Robertson of Strongsville, OH and Denise Duncan of New Albany, OH, brothers; Thomas (Vicki) Edmundson of Ft. Myers, FL and Bob (B.L.) Edmundson of Wheeling, and grandchildren; Kyle Duncan, Cameron Duncan, Ryan Robertson, Sarah LaVerne Robertson and Lauren Robertson. Friends will be received Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, where services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 10:00 am with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind, 201 N Bellefield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
