Charles "Chuck" E. Bennett, 73, of Brookside, Ohio, passed Wednesday April 29, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on April 21, 1942, a son of the late Harold and Dorothy Rose Bennett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings. Chuck was a retired employee of Lens Crafters and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carol Pohl Bennett; and a son Charles Scott Bennett of Pittsburgh, PA. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday May 4, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Interment and services will be private.
