Charles "Chuck" Mellott, born on June 29, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Nancy Mellott, passed away on October 4, 2024.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Bill Duggan.

Chuck is survived by his beloved partner and love of his life for 37 years, Nicole Emrich. He leaves behind a close-knit family, including his brothers Rick, Daniel, and Randy (Georgia) Mellott, and sisters Cindy (Jerry) Pack, Bonnie Duggan, sisters-in-laws Beth (Scott) Dove and Heather (Ken) Brown, and Liz Horton. His visible influence extends through his many nieces and nephews: Amy, Kelley, Melanie, Valerie, Ryan, Jennifer C., Jennifer, J., Leslie, Jessica, Monica, Colbey, Josh, Heidi, and Jenny, and many great nieces and nephews, as well as two little special friends, Madelyn and Everly.

Throughout his life, he moved back and forth from Ohio, Colorado and California. Chuck was loved by all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. He enjoyed people, conversation and getting together. He had many friends far and wide, and he enjoyed connecting his friends from different backgrounds with good times and fellowship. Chuck was an avid golfer. He relished every chance to hit the course, and his enthusiasm for all sports was evident in his spirited discussions and unwavering support for his favorite teams. Chuck found joy in camping, gardening, and cooking, sharing delicious meals with family and friends alike. Chuck's giving heart showed in the fact that he was an organ donor.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Saturday October 12, 2024, from 1 pm till time of service at 3 pm with Jerry Pack officiating. Private interment will be held at the convience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Chuck's name to a charity of your choice.
