CHARLES ""BUD"" JOBE, JR, 86, of Bridgeport, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at his home. He was born August 14, 1923 in Bridgeport, the son of the late Charles Jobe, Sr. and Sarah (Svaldo) Jobe. Bud graduated from Bridgeport High School and the Ohio State University. He was a partner in the accounting firm Wiseman-Hutzell & Co. in Wheeling and was a board member of Belmont Technical College in St. Clairsville. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst. He was also a member of the Bridgeport Knights of Columbus and the Son's of Italy in Bellaire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Viola Jobe. Bud is survived by his sister, Wilma Bianconi of Wolfhurst and nieces and nephews, David Bianconi and his wife Michele of Westerville, Donna Perine and her husband David of Cincinnati, Michael Bianconi and his wife Polly of Brookside and Rita Zuboski and her husband Todd of Cincinnati. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Wake services will be held at 2:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father John Mucha as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Blaine. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Central Grade School, 55505 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
