Charles A. Lemmon, Sr, 70, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, March 30, 20017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born November 22, 1946 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Forrest and Betty June (Renforth) Lemmon.

He was retired from Beech Bottom Plant Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. and a member of Colerain V.F.W. Post #8814 and Lansing Sportsman's Club.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Eve C. Cook, a sister, Willa Jean Linn and two brothers James and William Lemmon.

Surviving are his children: Charles A. (Stephanie) Lemmon, Jr. of Martins Ferry, OH, Tony Lemmon of Dillonvale, OH and John Lemmon of Bridgeport, OH, grandchildren: Charles Lemmon, III, Alexis Lemmon, Samantha (Bill) Finnicum, Sarah and John Cook, Nicole Lemmon, Michael (Kaitlin) Lemmon and Johnny Lemmon, good friends Shirley and Scott Julian both of Martins Ferry, several great grandchildren, neices and nephews.

Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Monday, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm where services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bill Webster officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH
