Charles "Chuck" F. McPherson, 80, of Bridgeport, OH died May 9, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born July 13, 1937, a son of the late Elmer and Elsie (Imhoff) McPherson.  Chuck was a former parts manager at Bridgeport Auto Parts, ran the Gulf gas station in Bridgeport, was a U.S. Army Veteran, an avid fisherman, a member of the Muskies Inc., and a Methodist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 1993; and brothers, David, Leroy, Joe, and Clarence McPherson.   Charles is survived by his children; Charles (Sherri) McPherson Jr. of Lynchburg, VA., Bonnie (Kevin) Gallaway of Bethesda, OH; grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Gallaway, and Shayne McPherson; and sisters, Patty Lollathin of Bridgeport, OH, and Shirley Vavrock of New Brighton, PA.   Friends will be received Friday, May 11, from 6-8pm and Saturday from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912.
