Obituary

Charles J. Orzolek, 80, of Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born March 9, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, OH a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Andreck) Orzolek. He was retired from the Martins Ferry Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Charles was a member of the Polish National Alliance, American Legion Post #38, and the former V.F.W. Post #3613 all of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army of WWII and a Catholic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers Edward, John, Frank, Stanley, William, and Joseph Orzolek, and five sisters Jospehine Vacha, Catherine Weing, and Helen, Ann, and Rose Orzolek. Surviving are his wife Joyce (Francis) Orzolek, a step-daughter Teresa (Elmer) Fekete of Windsor Hts., WV, a grandson Joey Fekete, and a brother Elwood "Doc" Orzolek of Martins Ferry. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
