Reynolds, Charles Wesley, 82, of Adena, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Sunset Health Care. He was born on June 26, 1926, in Tiltonsville, OH, son of the late John Randolph and Ruth Myrtle Reynolds of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Charles was the retired owner and founder of the former Reynolds Nursing Home (now Sunset Health Care). He was a veteran of WWII having served with the US Navy. He was a former Jefferson County Committeeman, the Election Board , member of the American Legion and member of the former Little York Methodist Church. He was a dedicated husband to his wife, Margaret of 53 years, and a devoted father to his four children and to his grandchildren. There was no end to his generosity to his family. He was greatly loved by them all. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret, and several brothers and sisters which include Marie Shores, Ada Warden, Elizabeth Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Albert Reynolds, Harry Reynolds and Lawrence Reynolds. Surviving are his four children. Shirley (Vince) Pastre, Ken (Carolyn) Reynolds, Roger (Melanie) Reynolds, and Tim (Tammy) Reynolds; three grandchildren, Michael Reynolds, Tracy Bartrug, and Todd Sefsick and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Geraldine Carducci of Rayland, Marge White of Canton , and three brothers: Harold Reynolds of Florida, John Reynolds of St. Clairsville and Fred Reynolds of Florida. Family and friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Bowling presiding. Burial in Holly Memorial Gardens with Military services provided by Dillonvale American Legion McCook Post #529.
