Charles Eugene Smith, 70, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 in his residence.  He was born on April 27, 1949 in Bellaire a son of the late Charles W. and Murriel L. (Brown) Smith.  He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in  the US Army.

He is survived by his sisters, Lora Rutter, Arlene I. Kusca, Libby Jo Ghent, Robin L. Vitale, Charlene LaRoche and Jackie Burkhart; brothers, William D. Smith, Frank A. Smith and Guy Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Penny Smith.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
