Charles C. "Chuck" Williamson, 71, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1945 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Charles E. and Eileen (Spaner) Williamson.

Chuck was retired from Nickels Bakery and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church both of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Vietnam War and a member of Yorkville V.F.W. Post #4811 and American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry.

Surviving are his wife, Linda C. (Koleski) Williamson, sons, David M. Williamson and Eric C. (Kami) Williamson, daughter, Amanda M. (Rick) Piegan, several grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Jack) Blon of Bellaire, brother-in-law, Dave (Jeanette) Koleski, sister-in-law, Molly (Jim) Faldoski, his nieces; Lori, Faith, Amber, Chloe, Carissa, Jackie, Lauren, Sally and Patsey, his nephews; Jason, Kevin, Preston, Jarrold, Rick and Bernard and his best friends; Kenny and Ann, Bonnie and Ed and Larry.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. 4th St., Martins Ferry at 12:30 pm with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows at Highland Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, OH.

Military Honors will be presented at 11:30 am in the funeral home by the Belmont County VFW Honor Guard.
