Charles H. Wines, 74, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his home. He was born July 24, 1942 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Russell H. and Edna M. (Belt) Wines.

He retired from Crescent Coal Company of Daisytown, PA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Marr) Wines, daughter, Denise Jean Wines, sister, Donna Corbett and brother, William E. Wines.

Surviving are his children; Tracey (Dennis Anderson) Guy of Barnesville, OH, Tina (Johnny Lemmon) Mitchell of Barton, OH, Wayne Wines of Morristown, OH and Bob Shafer of Martins Ferry, brothers; Dave Wines of Bethesda, OH and Richard (Pam) Wines of Weston, WV, sisters; Dolores (Wayne) Farrabee of Bethesda, Margaret Lemons of Paris, TN, and Janis (Bill) Striker of Barnesville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rodney West officiating.
