Charlotte Ann Elchuck'nee' Niekro, 79, of Blaine died unexpectedly Saturday October 5, 2013. She was born September 14, 1934 in Lansing, a daughter of the late Anthony I. and Anna A. (Klinkoski) Niekro. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church Wolfhurst, the CWC of the Church, the Bridgeport Christian Friendship Council, the PNA Lodge, and a devoted Volunteer at the Bridgeport Food Pantry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a loving husband Matt Elchuck, and a granddaughter Christy Elchuck Rowe. Charlotte is survived by her two daughters Cheryl (Jack) Rowe of Cary Ill. and Cindy Thompson of Tampa Fl., grandchildren; Jack, and Jennifer Rowe, and Bruce Thompson Jr., a sister D. J. (Emil) Slavik of St. Clairsville, a brother Anthony (Darla) Niekro of Blaine, also several beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Tuesday October 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr, John Mucha as celebrant, interment will be in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
